Calling Inuit Artists!

We are looking for artists working in all materials and practices across the arts who are interested in leading hour-long “De-ICE-olation” workshops for the next two months (and maybe longer?), while we’re all staying in our homes and practicing physical distancing for the health of our families and communities.

All workshop leaders are paid, and all workshops are free to participants. If you have a talent you’d like to share, or if you’d like to nominate someone you think would enjoy sharing their knowledge, please contact us on Facebook or by email, by sending a message to Inuit Futures in Arts Leadership on Facebook or at inuitfutures@gmail.com

Workshops can be given in Inuktitut, English or French, or they can be bilingual. They can be Inuit-only or public. We regret that at this time only Canadian Inuit can lead workshops (because of how our funding works), but registration in workshops is not limited to Canada. Hosts and participants must have computers with cameras and audio, as well as internet access. Contact us to learn more! And please check out our calendar and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn about upcoming workshops and opportunities!
