Nunatsiavut - Our Beautiful Land

Nunatsiavut - Our Beautiful Land brought together over 40 works by artists from Nunatsiavut, the Inuit region of Labrador, to interpret the theme of land and territory. The exhibition was juried by a group of Nunatsiavummiut, staff at La Guilde, and Partners from the Inuit Art Foundation under the advisement of Heather Igloliorte. The exhibition featured the works of 25 artists, including two Ilinniaqtuit, Jason Sikoak and Jessica Winters. The vernissage took place during the iNuit Blanche Gallery Crawl, a series of exhibitions celebrating Inuit art throughout downtown Montreal on the night of October 3, 2019.
